Don’t forget the Anchor!

We passed close the Bramble post and the colour of the water changed,

BramblePost someone joked that the Bramble Bank was not on the list of unusual anchorages that our chairman had given each of the skippers the evening before.  This and questions that arose while anchoring the following day prompted me to share the following article.  This reminds us all that there are occasions when we may need to drop the anchor in a hurry.  Yet more content for the safety brief.

Report from the Spring Rally / AGM Weekend

This year the BTOSC had four boats out on the water for the Spring Rally / AGM Weekend.   This is a brief illustrated report from Jasper a Dufor 36 skippered by Colin Jarvis.  Osprey a Dufor 38, Viola – Gibsea 37 and Ca’Canny – a Nijad 400 were also chartered by the club for this event. (more…)
